New music for the 2008-2009 season
We were fortunate to get in on a major clearance sale of music for this upcoming season. The titles ordered for the choir include:
Et In Terra Pax
As Lately We Watched
Poor Wayfaring Stranger
O Holy Night
Throw Open Your Shutters! (A Festive Madrigal)
A Garland of Carols
Mary, Did You Know?
Carol of the Bells
Jamaican Noel
What Shall We Do With A Drunken Sailor?
Festival Piece on ‘Sine Nomine’
A Pretty Girl is Like a MelodyThe music was purchased at savings ranging from 20% to 40% and that means a significant savings to the chorus. Before duties and exchange the cost was $660, but this represents music not only for Christmas but for the second part of the season.
Once the music has arrive we will divide the total costs, minus the monies earned from the June concert, among the members.
