Concert Still On!

The phone has been ringing off the hook, but the weather has cleared and so have the streets. Tonight’s “Sing We All!” concert will take place as planned at St. James the Apostle Anglican Church. The concert begins at 7:30 PM and features the Men of the Tay and the Women of the Tay choruses.

Admission is without charge although you can make a donation to help with the expenses of the choruses and the ministries of the church.

See you there!

“Sing We All” on December 10th

The Men of the TayThe Festival of Good Cheer provided a wonderful tune up for the Men and Women of the Tay as they continued to prepare for the joint Christmas concert.

The concert will take place on Wednesday, December 10th, at St. James the Apostle Anglican Church starting at 7:30 PM. Admission to the concert is free.

This will be the first concert appearance for the Women of the Tay and they will perform some wonderful settings of seasonal music for the women’s chorus including Deck the Halls, Jolly Old St. Nicholas and T’was the Night Before Christmas. The Men of the Tay will be performing their sixth annual concert this year featuring several unique sounds, including a contemporary arrangement of Mary, Did You Know? Both choirs will join together for a carol sing-a-long.

The Women of the TayThe concert will be hosted by the Perth Town Crier who will add his special touch to the season.

The Men of the Tay will appear again as part of the Perth Citizen’s Band Christmas Concert on December 16th. The Women of the Tay will be part of the Nine Lessons and Carols taking place on December 21st. Both of these appearances are also at St. James Anglican Church and begin at 7:30.
